WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE FIRST SESSION?

The first session is unique, as it is mostly spent gathering information about you and developing a treatment plan and professional report. Often times you can find yourself leaving the first session overwhelmed or relieved. 

CAN I BOOK AN INTAKE SESSION?

Yes, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation if you would like to help us both before scheduling an intake session. I try to respond to all new client inquirees within 48 hours and book the consultation for that same week. The goal is always to get you in for services as quickly as posible to begin the process of improving your well-being. 

HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THERAPY?

The length of time any one individual or couple spends in therapy is unique to their own needs and desires to change. For some people a few sessions to process a currently stressor or learn a few coping skills is all the need, for others, therapy can be a lifetime or on-going process. It is always important to discuss at the intake your expectations or needs and evaluate if you are able to commit to the time you may need to see results and changes. Progress can be slow at times, and often feels like things are getting worse before they get better. Transparency and openness in therapy is vital to the process and the outcomes.
